I will always accept returns or after a year buy back my pieces at 2/3 the sale price.
I accept all returns. I have had this policy for 3 years and a customer has never asked for a refund on a coin. Customers sometimes sell coins back to me and I welcome them as old friends.
I happily accept returns and will only ask if you like to discuss its authenticity, grade or price.
Me excited for my first coin show in 2023
I verify all pieces that pass through my hands. If you have questions about authenticity I will always explain my reasoning.
I vet coins based on decades of experience in ancient coins. I have extensive knowledge of numismatic literature and provide reference numbers for my coins to be researched further by the customer searching that book’s author and correlating number.
I learned to vet coins with a background in antiquities — a field overflowing with convincing fakes. I am careful about what I buy and more careful about what I sell. If I have any concerns about a piece after my research, I contact friends, dealers and customers who specialize in the particular field. If one other person has suspicions I do not sell that piece.
